STACHYBOTRYS CHARTARUM
A black or greenish-black slimy mould associated with prolonged water damage, especially in sewage-damage situations, involving cellulose materials, such as wallpaper, wallboard, and ceiling tiles. Stachybotrys mould produces mycotoxin that can cause serious health problems if exposure to them is over extended periods
STACK EFFECT
Used air, as in a chimney or air duct, that moves upward because it is warmer than the surrounding atmosphere. In larger buildings the stack effect can overpower the mechanical system and disrupt normal ventilation and circulation.
STAIN

A sealer designed to block the transmission of stains.
STAIN RETARDANT
An application for textiles which imparts some degree of protection against staining.
