Objectives

To review some of the biggest challenges facing the disaster restoration industries in 2025. To gain an initial understanding of changes to mould-related legislation, risks around fire-contamination, and the growing use of modern methods of construction. To assess how each of the individual issues will impact the claims landscape. To understand the expectations now placed on restoration and insurance professionals. To understand the combination of practical, technical and scientific methodologies that will be a necessity moving forward.

Content

The perils themselves remain the same, but in 2025 and beyond, they are going to pose new challenges, more complex risks, and greater expectations on insurers, loss adjusters and damage management professionals. From the changing legislation around mould, the greater health and material damage risks following fires, to the increased use of modern methods of construction and the problems they pose.
