Accredited BDMA Technicians who wish to expand their knowledge of damage management and add to their skill set. Particularly relevant to those aiming to achieve additional professional qualifications through accreditation as a BDMA Senior Technician.
Objectives
The course aims to identify damage management procedures, protocols and techniques relevant to complex scenarios and the management of activity at a senior level, in line with BDMA Standards. It is anticipated completion of this course, supported by further study of the BDMA Standards, the BDMA Training & Reference Manual and other relevant material, will equip students with sufficient resources to develop and competently deliver more complex and technically advanced damage management solutions, and be in a position to sit the BDMA Senior Technician examination if they wish to progress to accreditation at this level.
Content
The course will cover the level of knowledge required to competently deliver damage management at a senior level, in line with best practice, including project management and complex scenarios.
It will focus on fire and water damage with additional reference to contents, customer relations, health & safety and basic insurance claims activity. Training will be in line with the BDMA Standards and the official BDMA Damage Management Training & Reference Manual.
