Insurance Technician

BDMA INSURANCE TECHNICIAN – BDMA Tech (Ins) is the appropriate accreditation for insurers, loss adjusters and insurance brokers who have direct involvement in property claims.

BDMA INSURANCE TECHNICIAN – ENTRY CRITERIA

Employees of an insurance or loss adjusting organisation who are involved in property claims activities, for whom detailed knowledge of professional damage management practices will enhance their ability to achieve appropriate outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Awareness of insurance property claims processes
• Damage management industry awareness
• Enrolled on the official BDMA Damage Management for Insurance Technicians eLearning module
• Completion of BDMA Training for Insurers and Loss Adjusters

Entry Method: Satisfactory completion of relevant BDMA Insurance Technician Examination.

COMPETENCE IN BDMA STANDARDS

Not relevant.
