Technical Trainer – Rainbow International

Full Time: Technical Trainer (South)
Reports to: Technical Manager – Rainbow International

A great opportunity has become available for a Technical Trainer within our Operations team on a national basis, being responsible for the delivery of industry specific standardised technical training across the business.

Within Rainbow International – providing damage management and associated services to Private and Public Sector organisations, including Local Authority and Insurance customers. Rainbow International offers innovative operational and development solutions that have been built using the strong foundation of the Rainbow organisation which was established nearly 40 years ago in the UK.

Key responsibilities will involve, but not be limited to, the following:
    • To provide innovative, thought provoking and industry leading training specific to internal and
      external customers’ needs
    • Provide training delegates with the best possible learning experience to ensure business beneficial outcomes
    • Mentor individuals / groups to achieve the full range BDMA accreditations
    • Be central to the development of all technical training ensuring the business is utilising the latest technological advances
    • Develop training course materials in conjunction with L&D department and Technical Managers
    • Constantly evaluate and improve the effectiveness of training and modify materials as appropriate
    • Work with technicians in the field in an field audit and coaching capacity
    • Work with audit teams to identify areas for improvement and action the improvements required through the L&D process
    • Attend technical training/innovation days and forums
    • Where applicable provide technical feedback to the business stakeholders in the event of complaints.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experienced in using MS Office, Excel, Word & Powerpoint
  • Relevant industry related training
  • BDMA
  • H&S training (IOSH / NEBOSH)


The Technical Trainer would suit an individual based in the South of the UK, but will work on a national basis. Therefore flexibility to travel around the UK is essential
