Essential requirements:

  • BDMA qualified or equivalent
  • Full clean driving license
  • Minimum 3 Years of industry experience
  • Must be willing to be DBS checked
  • Technicians are expected to wear company uniform at all times on the client site

The ideal candidate will live outside the M25 between Hatfield and Brentwood, or within a reasonable distance of North-East London – South Essex-Kent,

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role where the successful Fire & Flood Restoration Technician will be home-based and responsible for:

  • Assessing damaged properties and establishing a scope of works to include, strip-out requirements if necessary, and a drying/cleaning plan.
  • Utilising technical drying equipment and using unique drying methods that you will be fully trained in.
  • Working in flooded properties with backed up drainage systems or general flooding – you will be clearing water, drying the required rooms, taking up carpets, handling ventilation and then cleaning/sanitising.
  • Working in smoke-damaged properties you will be responsible for damage assessment.
  • Managing your own diary and monitoring work progress.
  • Arranging customer appointments.
  • Willingness to travel.

 

Package / Benefits

Competitive Salary of £22K – £25K (depending upon experience)

22 days a year holiday plus bank holidays

Over-time, time off in lieu, emergency call-out fee as necessary
